Behaviorprise Consulting is an approved service provider for children services under the Ontario Autism Program (OAP). Our vision is to be a leading Behavioral services organization supporting children living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other forms of developmental disabilities
Our program includes therapy using the principles of ABA, and offers skill teaching in areas of social skills, communication, play, self-care, independence, and school readiness skills.
Developmental disabilities typically restrict communication and functioning of children in diverse areas of daily living. However, early behavior intervention using ABA strategies has proven to be very effective in teaching language and school readiness skills.
If you answered YES to any of these questions, then our program is right for you.
The Behaviorprise Program for Children with Autism (BPCA) is an individualized ABA program that focusses on the need of each child and helps to develop skills for
independence as well as those needed to interact with other children and sustain relationships.
This program uses ABA strategies to teach skills that a child may be missing or skills that
may not be occurring at the level that other typical children are operating.
The program ranges from 4 -7hours per day and 2-5 days per week in intensity.
Our therapists are trained, experienced, compassionate, and professional and our system is very well tested. This program includes multiple learning domains that focus on language acquisition, social skills, school readiness skills, play skills, independence skills as well as general pro-social behaviors.
At Behaviorprise, we understand that the parenting styles of some families are informed by their cultural beliefs and values and those values need to be preserved. As much as is legally possible, we will modify our therapy to recognize and accommodate our clients’ family values.
